Drazen & Jenalyn

Our Story

Drazen

Drazen is an Associate Manager in Accenture Inc., a company he worked for since 2012. Aside from being a web/mobile developer, he also likes a few things outside his line of work.

A Cinephile

Drazen is a cinephile and a regular attendee of Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival. He has watched all Studio Ghibli, Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Oscar Best Picture films. He notes every movie he watches and logs them in his Letterboxd page. Do not get him to talk about his favorite films, because it will be a non-stop discussion.

A Semi-History Nerd

Drazen enjoys reading about history and you can see him frequently watch documentaries from various Youtube channels of different historians. He absolutely loves listening or watching discussions about World War 2 and the Cold War. He believes that his skills and critical thinking stem out on how he views world history.

A One Piece Fanatic

Drazen is a a self-proclaimed One Piece geek and has the confidence to tell its story from the first chapter to the latest. He began reading the manga way back 2009, and has followed the journey of the Straw Hat Pirates ever since. He dreams of visiting the hometown of the creator, Eichiro Oda, in Kumamoto, Japan once the series is finished. Despite having more than 1000 chapters, he believes that One Piece is one of the greatest works of fiction.

A Traveller

Drazen likes to travel and has been to places like Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, South Korea, India, and Japan. His reason why he likes to travel is that he wants to learn about the history and culture of different countries.

A Listener Of Music

Drazen listens to a lot of genres of music like punk, grunge, emo, pop, country, and J-music. He has attended concerts of several musicians like Paramore, One Ok Rock, SCANDAL, Barbie Almalbis, Kitchie Nadal, Rivermaya, etc.

Gift Registry

We’re beyond excited to have you with us on our big day! Your presence means the world to us, and if you’re considering a gift, we highly discourage boxed presents due to limited space in our place. A monetary one would be our suggestion as we begin this new adventure and build our future together. Your love and support mean everything to us, and we’re so grateful to have you by our side!

Expand the sections below for more details.

  • Can I still bring physical gifts at the wedding?
Absolutely! However, we highly encourage "monetary" gifts sent to our bank accounts instead. You may refer to the Gift Registry section for more details
  • Can I livestream the wedding on my social media account?
No. We want our wedding to be intimate so we do not want our guests to be live streaming to any social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, etc.). You can take pictures as many times as you want as long as it's not disrupting the flow of the programs during the church and reception ceremonies.
  • I am a best man/maid of honor/bridesmaid/groomsman, can I book my own hotel?
Yes definitely. We highly encourage you to book your own accommodations for privacy purposes. However, you need to be early on the wedding day, as we need to do some preparations beforehand. Also, please inform the bride/groom if you will be booking your own accommodation/s.
  • Are there any parking slots in case we bring a car to the wedding?
We are still coordinating to the admin of Palacio del Gobernador (beside Manila Cathedral) if we can reserve some parking slots during the wedding. There are available parkings beside the church (near the parish office), but are quite limited. We will be posting those details soon. In Casa Ibarra, there are only 15 available parking slots intended for close relatives of the groom and bride. However, there is an option provided by Casa Ibarra to park at MAAX (MOA Annex) Bldg. behind MOA Arena. They will provide a free shuttle for all the guests but you NEED to inform the groom/bride regarding your plate number at least 1 or 2 months before the wedding.
  • I will not be able to attend the wedding, can I invite someone to replace me?
It depends, inform the groom and/or the bride first at least a month before the wedding.
  • What attire should I wear?
For Principal and Secondary Sponsors, you are all required to wear formal gown. Other guests should follow a semi-formal attire during the wedding.
